Keeping a meditation journal is a good tool to track your progress or see if you are progressing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can write about various aspects of your experience in a meditation journal to reflect on and deepen your practice. Here\u2019s a guide on what to include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Pre-meditation thoughts: Write about how you feel before you begin. Are you calm, anxious, or distracted? Note any thoughts or emotions that are on your mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Techniques used: Describe the meditation technique you practiced (e.g., breath awareness, loving-kindness, body scan) and why you chose it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Sensations or feelings: Note any physical sensations, emotions, or mental states during meditation. Did you feel relaxed, tense, or have a sense of clarity?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Challenges: Write about any difficulties you encountered, such as restlessness, wandering thoughts, or discomfort, and how you dealt with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Insights or realizations: Reflect on any insights or thoughts that arose during the session. These might be related to your meditation practice or life in general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Post-meditation reflections: After meditating, describe how you feel compared to before. Is there a noticeable shift in your mood, energy, or mental state?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.
